Who doesn't love happy thoughts? Warm fuzzy feelings invite us into deeper receptivity, and joy is a natural outcome of that receptivity. 

This leads many to believe that if they just train their mind to be more 'positive' then their life will improve.

You don't need to train yourself to be more positive; Love and peace and joy is your natural state. It's just that in a noisy, chaotic world, those parts get often get obscured.

Somewhere along the way, shame and humility got twisted up. 

As if you have to put yourself down in order to be humble. 

We self-deprecate to show how 'real' we are. And that's only on the outside. On the inside we're our own worst critic. The nagging voice that never quits. 

It's a tool we use to push ourselves to greater achievements. Shame keeps us from getting complacent. 

But what if there were a better way? 

A way to say, "My best is enough; I am enough...

Enthusiasm is a beautiful thing. But don't let it fool you. 

The bright-eyed and bushy-tailed energy of enthusiasm is easy to come by when things are fresh and new- this is the honeymoon of any endeavor.
